ASSOCIATE IN BIBLE
Theology Track
(64 HOURS)

This two year degree is designed to meet the individual needs of the man or woman who would like a foundational background by which work in an independent Baptist church will be enhanced. The blend of courses concentrate on practical Christian living and Biblical and theological knowledge and application.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The student who finishes this degree should be able to:

1. Express clearly and concisely the foundational doctrines of independent Baptists as found in the Word of God and communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
2. Display an ability to determine the will of God in matters pertaining to their own abilities and capabilities for service to the Lord through His church.
3. Demonstrate an ability to apply biblical principles in coping with the typical challenges of our modern society against the Christian world view.
4. Show an ability to integrate biblical and theological truths with the purpose of edifying believers and of defending the faith to unbelievers.
